The Holiday Fever

I'm just back from a 10 day holiday in Marbella and luckily I brought the good weather back with me. While savouring the beautiful scenery I also got the chance to go to my favourite place there, Peurto Banus. This is what I would like to call "Fashion Heaven " along with Verona, Monte Carlo & lets not forget New York.

I stroll along the marina and cannot help but gaze at the amazing yachts, cars and boutiques. And of course, lets not forget the people. They are very stylish, very sexy and very very suave.

The look I found most popular amongst women and men alike was the Nautical Trend. Of course there were some other lovely styles but this is one that I think will never ever date. Women wore chino shorts with crisp white blouses or vests and stunning leather loafers or gladiator sandals for night time, while the men teamed up blazers, boat shoes and sailor hats, some even rolled up their chinos for that Tony Curtis look from Some Like It Hot. I defintately looked twice... :)
It was a lovely sight to see and so I took myself into the local boutiques and bought some lovely pieces to give myself a fresh nautical look.
I have to say that above all the designer's out there, Tommy Hilfiger gets this look right every Summer.

You can also get this look by looking out for some key pieces, they can be bought in mist high street stores, I have seen a great range of items in Awear, River Island, Top Shop and Penneys. Here are some from of my favourtites from Tommy Hilifiger.

Happy Sailing Peoples.... Ahoy Captain   :)
